Favorite Project or Assignment

We have worked on a lot of great projects/assignments in 5th grade. I would like for you to tell me what your favorite project or assignment has been this year. I would like for you to write 5th grade sentences and explain why it is your favorite. Please make sure you check your SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. You will be losing a lot of points if there are multiple mistakes. Please do your best work and have fun.

  1. My favorite project that I did in fifth grade this year was the art class, plaster mask that I did with Mr. Perry. My mask was a creepy, french dude with horns. I also made him have a curly mustache with oprah glasses. I made him out of Mr. Perry's plastic molds that look like faces. Once we put the plaster on the mask we let them dry then paint them however we want. Then Mr. Perry told us we have to put a pattern of dots however we want on the mask. On my mask I put dots just on the left side to make it look cool. I love art class because I'm a good artist. It is alot of fun!

At the party there was a lot of snack's and all the posters were hanging up.The posters names were Gryffindor,Slitheran,Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuf. We played a game. The game was fun. I had a great time doing the game and being at the PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite project or assignment was the creative writing project. I wrote my story on a girls whose best friend is moving. I liked this project because I like writing and writing stories. Sometimes if I have nothing to do I will get a piece of of paper and write down my ideas like we did in class today. I like writing, so I have a binder and a folder full of stuff i wrote on my own time and from at school. I think we should do another project like that.

My favorite project or assignment that we have done is the creative story! I liked this project because we got to write our own stories. I chose to write about a girl moving to a new house and she has to go to a new school. Her emotions are pretty much the feelings I have right now because soon I will be moving. So it was fun to write about something that you could choose . I thought it was fun to get to write about something you want write about and that you could change your characters names like I did with mine and express your feelings. I really hope we can do creative writing again ! It was really fun! ~Natalie

My favorite project so far in 5th grade is plaster masks. It's not with Mr. C it's with Mr. Perry. It's fun because you get to work with plaster and it's somewhat messy. For the project you design your own mask and make it. Mine was a Darth Maul Bieber with tusks. I think it was pretty good. I don't know about you. That was a REALLY fun project.

  7. My favorite project that we have done is in reading. The project where we had to pick a canadian animal then we had to do a big poster about it. That was my favorite project because we got to do it alone and we got to color the whole thing. My other favorite project was the math one that we did like a month ago when we had to estimate what we were going to pull out of the bag then we had to do a bog poster on it and write what we estimated on the poster.I hope we do more projects like this before the school year is over.

  8. My favorite project is in reading it is the canadian animal project. It is my favorite because we had to make a big poster of on of your favorite animal in Canada. My poster was about the lynx and because of that I learned more about it than I know. We also got to work alone and you could draw a picture of your animal. My other favorite was the masks in art. I liked it because we could make it what ever we wanted. In math I liked the sack bag thing. I liked it because my group and I were wondering what was in the bag. And in social studies was the famous explores. I liked it because you got to research someone. I got to do Jane Goodall.

  9. My favorite project this year was the famous explorer. The explorer I chose was Jessica Watson; she was the youngest person ever to sail around the world. Finding some of the facts was a little hard because she is young. When I wrote the report I had just enough facts to meet the requirements. My favorite part of the project was creating a poster. I used bright orange poster board and covered it with pictures and facts. When I did the oral report, I was nervous but still excited. I ended up feeling good about the report. For extra credit, I created a powerpoint. It was really fun and I got to use a few more facts that I had forgotten to say during my oral report.

My favorite project this year was my famous explorer. The explorer I was assigned was Alexandra David- Neel. She traveled to many places around the world. She was a rebel as a child and got thrown from her church for sharing her own beliefs. My favorite part of this project was sharing and designing the poster. I had quite a few other projects I liked, but this one was my favorite!

  11. I think that my favorite project that we did was the Harry Potter wand and my favorite assignment that I ever did was the "How I Chose My Wand" writing assignment.I liked the wand a lot because we could make it customised. We could go home and make it just the way we wanted and not one of them is similar. I liked the paper because I love writing and I especially like it when I have ideas and am into it. I made the paper much longer than the required paragraph and plus, I had fun!!!

  12. My favorite project was the puppet newscast. My favorite part of the cast was when Jimmy said,"If you need help with art, call 1-800-234-697-2?" In the end, I think the whole cast went well. We had a tough weekend ahead, according to the weather. I loved how Aaron was our mascot!

  14. My favorite project was our plant stories. We got to make pictures and read it to our kindergarten buddies. Well I didn't because I went on vacation and I was supposed to be back on time but got stuck there for five days. I was sad about missing it but at leased the kindergarten still got to see the books that different groups made. I liked the people in my group and we didn't fight at all, so we got a lot of work done. I think that my group was a great team and we got the job done. -Abby

  15. My favorite project so far is probably the 3d box thing that we did. I think it was the book the keeping room. I did it for the part when someone put a tree in front of the outhouse, that was one funny part. One of the Red Coats was in the out house and he got stuck in there. The keeping Room is probably my favorite book we have read in reading.

My favorite project was the very first project. That project was the all about me, and i also liked the news reports. The news reports and the all about me is about the same. Why I like the all about me is that I got to know what other people like. Also the news reports was awesome with Jimmy, and thank you Niko for commenting about me.

  19. My favorite project this year was The About Me project. I liked showing with art the things I like love and like to do. I made the project out of a pizza box to show that I love pizza. In the pizza box I put in a finger skateboard, a guitar pick, a soccerball key chain, an origami slice of pizza and a picture of me with my lamb Rudy. I wish more assignments could be like The About Me project it was amazingly awesome.
