The first real snowfall of the year has finally come. I love the month of December! My dad and I would always go outside after Thanksgiving and set up all of our decorations. We had the whole outside of our house covered with lights, blow-up figures, plastic figures, and even an a HUGE hot air balloon that Santa was riding in. We would always have hot chocolate when we were working on everything. When we were all done, I would go inside and help my mom set up our Christmas tree. We would have new decorations every year. I would like for you to tell me all about your December. What are some of the things that you do? Remember to give detail and watch your spelling and punctuation. Like always, I would like for you to please have at least five sentences. Do your best work and spend some time on this. Read over your work because if it does not have five sentences or has a lot of grammatical mistakes, I will not post it. I can't wait to hear about what all of you like to do in December. I like to go out shopping for new decorations to. Then we would ask my dad if we can put up our Christmas tree yet because my dad doesn't always like to put up our Christmas tree right up after Thanksgiving. This year we asked but then we decided to put up our Christmas tree up in December. Every year me and my step mom and my dad watch Christmas movies and drink some warm tasty hot chocolate. On Christmas morning I will open my presents at my dads then my brother will be waiting to open his presents because he has to wait till I get there. Then I will open my presents with my brother at my moms house.

Hi Mr. C my family normally gets our tree the week before Christmas. This year we got ares like right after Thanksgiving. The week after we decorated it. We don't have a lot of decorations, but we do have decorations. I like snow and winter, but it is not my favorite time of year. I like to play in the snow, it is cold. We just decorated the tree last Sunday.I got to put the angel on to of the tree.

ReplyDeleteWhat I like to do in December is play in the snow with our dogs. Also, I like to play in the snow with my brothers and make snow forts. I like going outside and making a snowman. I also like to go out in front of our yard and decorate the trees with my mom. So that is what I like to do in December.

What I like to do during the winter (December) is building snowmen! I also like to build snow forts and go sledding. One of the other things we do is (every year) decorate the tree with my sister my mom and my grandma! I like to drink hot chocolate with my sister Emily! That is what I love to do in winter

I love winter! My face always lights up when I see snow. My mom sister and I go down to Homestead Farms to get our Christmas tree every year. We eat a lot of doughnuts.( especially maple covered ones.) When we decorate our Christmas tree we get boxes of chocolate and we eat them while we decorate the tree. My dad sister and I get together with my dad's side of the family and we usually rent a cottage to stay in for a day or two. I get very excited about that because my dad's mom is there and since she lives in Florida that's one of the only times I get to she her. That's what I like to do in December. I hope to hear from the rest of you 5c kids!!! H.B.
ReplyDeleteThere are many things that I love about December. One is that I have a family Christmas party where I get to see all of my cousins on my moms side. Another is that jolly Saint Nick comes when you are sleeping and gives you gifts. I also love when my elf on the shelf, Fiddle, comes back. On Christmas eve we always watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss. These are some of the things that I love about December.

Some Ronning traditions are: We always get a new pug ornament every year since before my brother and I were born. Our Elf on the Shelf starts Thanksgiving night - it's been great this year because our elf got a skirt! I know who gave it to us, our elf from the north pole Bippy. Bippy has been our elf ever since I can remember. He is also the elf that brings us our Christmas pajamas a few days before the big day so we can wear them for Christmas morning. mr
ReplyDeleteWhat I do in December is to decorate my christmas tree and eat holiday cookies. I look forward to seaching for my two elves every morning and see what kind of trouble they got into. On snowy days we like to go to Stratton and go snowboarding. We also have a big holiday party at our house that is tons of fun. Lots of people come and there is always all kinds of good food to eat. Finally I look forward to Christmas day to open up presents.

What I like to do in December is well the second Sunday in December my dad always has his work christmas party at our house. Also my Mom and I go get our tree at Hubbers, we go on the slay ride drink hot choclate and eat cider dounts. I also do A Christmas Carol this year I'm Martha Crachit a poor girl.I play basketball on Mr.Ronning's team. also my elf named Fly dose crazy things till christmas like today 12/12/13 he used a white board marker and put mustaches and black glasses all over my picture frames.

During December I go sledding with my (annoying) brother.I also go to my grandmothers house the night befoe christmas eve and sleepover then on christmas eve all of our family comes and we have dinner then we hand out gifts.Also during my december I like to have hot chocolate while I a setting up my christmas tree.This december I put christmas lights around my room and so now when I go to sleep I turn my christmas lights on! I hope everybody has a good holiday and a Happy New Year.
